TRIPS AND TOURS

If it is your first time to Mull, we recommend a two or three day stay.

The first day can be taken up with a trip to Iona and to Staffa. On the second day a drive to Tobermory followed by a visit to Torosay or Duart castle is a must. If you stay the third day, then we would recommend a tour of the west coast with its stunning scenery.

For those with a preference for wildlife, then there are many tours you could take. Even if you are experienced, a day with one of our wildlife operators will help you find the hotspots.

Walking on the Isle of Mull is not always waymarked

Walkers are catered for as well. Although routes are not waymarked as they are in the Lake District for example, there are guide books to be had.

There are also whale watching and other sea going trips to be experienced, leaving from Tobermory and Fionnphort. In fact the trip to Staffa often turns out to be a wildlife experience in itself.
